Canadian immigration program: How can I prove that I have canadian cash to support myself financially?
Hi, I applied for the skill worker program to migrate to Canada. I got a letter from my local back as proof of funds. However, I just have part of my saving in my bank because the rest of it is in canadian cash that I've been saving for this purpose and I don't know how to prove that. Can anybody tell me what to do in this case?

- To prove that you have access to it you need to put it in a bank. Then a copy of a bank statement would be best with the bank's phone number.
- i think following can be done: 1. you can put the cash in the bank and get the statement 2. you can get some bond/saving certificates and keep it 3. you can open offshore account with canadian currency 4. you can keep the cash and show them cash (though its risky and depend on your countries regulations) 5. you can convert you money into travelers chq and show them travelers chqs. best of luck
- just save up the equivalent to canadian dollars in your bank account and then get a statement printed right before you move to Canada. get the conversion printed as well.
